According to the mythological story associated with the birth of Hanuman Ji, in the Satyuga, King Dasaratha performed a son Kameshishti Yajna under the guidance of Guru Vashistha to get children. Which was performed by the sage Ringi. As soon as the Yagya was completed, Agnidev himself appeared with the character of Kheer from the Yagya Kund and distributed it to the three queens.
At the same time, an eagle snatched the pudding from Queen Kaikeyi’s hands and flew into the mouth. When the eagle flew, the goddess passed through Anjani’s ashram, and at that time Anjani was looking up. The partial portion of Kheer fell on Anjani’s face and she swallowed Kheer spontaneously. Because of which she became pregnant and she gave birth to Bajrangbali on full moon day of Chaitra month. Azar Amar Bajrangbali was an ardent devotee of Lord Shri Ram and always remained a Brahmachari.
