In ancient times, an old woman lived in a city. Every Sunday She would wake up early in the morning after bathing she would apply cow dung in her angan(Open space in front of house), then worshiped Suryadev and offered him food by offering it to her, But the old lady used to bring cow dung of the neighbor to take her patio.
At the same time, due to the grace of Suryadev, the old lady did not have any kind of pain, seeing that her neighbor was very jealous. Once on Sunday, the neighbor tied his cow inside so that the old lady could not get cow dung and could not even scrape the house.
On that Sunday, the old lady remained unharmed and went to sleep hungry. Suryadev appeared to him in a dream and asked why did he not enjoy it today? To this, the old woman said that she does not have a cow and the neighbor tied the cow inside, due to which she was unable to lipstorm and cook the food. Then Suryadev said that I am very happy with your devotion and I give you a cow that will fulfill all your desires.
When the old lady woke up in the morning, she saw a beautiful cow and calf standing in the courtyard. The old lady began to serve the cow devoutly. But when the neighbor came to know that a cow had come to the old lady too, she started burning heavily.
Then he saw that cow gives gold dung. Seeing the gold dung, the neighbor’s eyes opened. In the absence of the old lady, the neighbor picked up the cow dung and took it to her house. Instead of gold dung, she kept her cow dung. By collecting gold dung continuously in this way, the neighborhood became rich in a few days.
Now Suryadev thought that he would have to do something. They made a strong thunderstorm in the evening, Due to the storm, the old lady tied the cow in the courtyard and in the morning she saw that the cow dung of gold. Then she started tying the cow inside every day.
Now, this was not tolerated by the neighbor and he told the king that the old lady had a cow giving gold dung. The king sent a soldier and ordered him to bring the old lady and her cow. The cow came to the palace but it polluted the atmosphere of the entire palace with stinky dung.
The same night, Suryadev gave the dream to the king that the cow is only for old age. She observes my fast every Sunday (Ravivar Vrat Katha) and indulges me. Therefore, goodness is in returning the cow. In the morning Rajan returned the cow to the old lady and also gave a lot of money.
