Mithun sankranti pooja method
1. Silbatta is worshiped as Bhudevi on the day of Mithun Sankranti. Silbatta is bathed with milk and water on this day.
2. After this, sandalwood, vermilion, flowers and turmeric are offered on the silbatta.
3. Tributes are paid to ancestors on the day of Mithun Sankranti.
4. On the day of Mithun Sankranti, sweet poda-peetha made of jaggery, coconut, rice flour and ghee is made.
5. Rice is not accepted in any form on this day.
