The ceremony is celebrated by people from all over the world in their own way. Hinduism describes its own rituals and activities to follow on this day.

Preparations for Marriage Anniversary Ceremony

In Indian culture, many couples hesitate to celebrate their wedding ceremony. In many states of India, women still follow the social tradition of solitude by putting a veil in front of their husbands. Especially in states or religions where love marriage is still considered a misconduct and a boy and girl are not aware of each other’s personality. As a result, the two act as a stranger to each other for a long time and are hesitant to celebrate their special day.

On the other hand, when Hinduism is talked about, it is mentioned that in every happiness and sorrow the wife and husband are companions of each other. Therefore, when it comes to celebrating their marriage ceremony or showing affection to others, they should have no hesitation. Marriage is considered the most sacred bond in the scriptures, hence husband and his wife should be present without any doubt in any social ceremony, festival or event. In addition, they should sit at the havan ceremony with an open mind on their anniversary.

Fasting on The Wedding Anniversary
