Vastu means a place where God and humans live together. Our body is made up of five main substances and Vastu is believed to be related to these five elements. Many times it happens that our house is not suited to our body then it affects us and it is called Vastu Dosh.
What is Vastu Shanti Puja
Often we feel that there is grief in the house or every day there is some loss in the house. Many difficulties are encountered in climbing the head of any task. The presence of a negativity is not felt at home. Vastu related defects can be behind all these situations.
We believe it or not but Vastu has a very important role in out life, it is affecting our lives every day. The worship that is done to remove these Vastu defects in the house is called Vastu Shanti Puja. It is believed that all the negative powers inside the house are removed by Vastu Shanti Puja. There is happiness and prosperity in the house.
Vastu Shanti Puja Vidhi
The way in which you worship or make Vastu Shanti is called Vastu worship method. Although many types of methods and measures have been mentioned in Vastu Shastra for Vastu peace, but it is mainly done in two ways, first is the appropriate worship method and second is the symbolic worship method.
For proper worship, Swastika, Ganpati remembrance, Sankalp, Sri Ganapati Pujan, Kalash Sthapna, Pujan, Rigandha, Abhishek, Shodeshmater’s Puja, Vasodhera Puja, Ausheya Chanting, Nandeshrad, Yogne Pujan, Kshetrapal Puja, Fire Setting, Navagrana Placement Puja, Vastu Mandala Pujal, Sthapana, Graha Haavan, Vastu Devta Home, Poornahuti, Trisutrevasten, Jaladugara, Dhvaja Pankha Placement, Activity, Vastupurusha-Prarthana, Dakshina Sankalpa, Brahman Food, Uttara Food, Abhishek, Immersion etc. have to go through the process. At the same time, some major auctions are performed in symbolic worship, which cannot be ignored. But for a permanent measure of Vastu peace, a proper worship should be done by the learned Brahmin with the entire law.

When can you perform a Vastu Shanti Pooja?
It is not necessary to conduct a Vastu Shanti Puja before every Griha Pravesh. People normally perform a Vastu Shanti Pooja in below circumstances:
- Renovation of an old building that can alter the particular structure to make room for a larger area.
- Renovation of the home or office.
- Scarcity of space and difficulties in complying with the Vedic norms.
- When people buy an old home.
- When there are faults in the way interiors are arranged in all the rooms.
- When it has been ten years or more that the residents have been staying in one home.
- Family locks their home for a considerable amount of years, stays away, and then comes back.
