Rudra is also a name of Lord Shiva. The glory of the word Rudra is found in religious texts. The word has been mentioned many times in the Yajurveda. Rudrashtadhyayi is considered to be a part of Yajurveda. Rudra means Rut and Rut means the one who destroys sorrows, that is, the one who destroys sorrows, that is Rudra, that is because

What is mini Rudra Puja

Rudrashtadhyayi is considered a part of Yajurveda. Although there are ten chapters in this scripture, which sing the glory of Lord Shiva i.e. Rudra, but since its eight chapters describe the glory of Lord Shiva and his grace power. Therefore, it has been named Rudrashtadhyayi.

The remaining two chapters are known as Shantyadhyay and Swasti Prayadhyay. While reciting Rudrabhishek, the text of these entire 10 chapters is called metaphor or conspiracy text. On the other hand, if the Namak Glasra lesson of the fifth and eighth chapters in the conspiracy text i.e. eleven repetition text is called Ekadashini Rudri text.

The use of the word “Namah” in the fifth chapter is more salt than the name of this chapter and “Chame” in the eighth chapter. The name of this chapter became glitter due to more usage of the word. Both the fifth and eighth chapters are known as the Panaravruti text called Namak Chamka text.

The eleven recurring text of Ekadashini Rudri is called Small Rudra. At the same time, the eleven frequency text of the small Rudra is called Mahaudra and the eleven frequency text of Mahaudra is called Adhudra. This verse says these forms of Rudra Puja-

रुद्राः पञ्चविधाः प्रोक्ता देशिकैरुत्तरोतरं ।
सांगस्तवाद्यो रूपकास्मरः सशीर्षो रूद्र उच्च्यते ।।
एकादशगुणैस्तद्वद्‌ रुद्रौ संज्ञो द्वितीयकः ।
एकदशभिरेता भिस्तृतीयो लघु रुद्रकः।।

Why is Small Rudra worship Done

“Rutam-duh-kham, dravayati-nashyatiitirudra:”

“रुतम्‌-दुःखम्‌ द्रावयति-नाशयतीतिरुद्रः”

That is, Lord Shiva destroys all sorrows. The biggest and important reason for Rudra Puja is that it gets the blessings of Lord Shiva. Rudracharna destroys the person’s deeds and supernatural deeds and generates Shiva in it and with the blessings of Lord Shiva, all desires of the seeker are fulfilled.

it is also said that by worshiping Sadashiva Rudra, all the deities are automatically worshiped. The Rudrahrudhyopanishad states that ‘Sarvadevatmako Rudra: Survey Deva: Shivatmaka:’ ie – Rudra is present in the soul of all the gods and all the gods are the soul of Rudra.

Method of worship

It consists of eleven recurring recitations of Rudrashtadhyayi’s Ekadashini Rudri. This is called the small Rudra. This is the worship performed from Panchamrit. This puja is considered very important. Worship is performed by a learned Brahmin by effective mantras and scriptural methods. With this puja one gets rid of the troubles and negative energy.
