Everybody has at least one clock in their house. However, most of you do not pay much attention to where you place a clock when you hang it at home. The only thought is about how easy it is to know the time. But know, just as important as the architecture of a home is the clocks that keep track of time.
Hanging clocks in the right direction brings positive energy to the home. Keeping the clock in the wrong direction will definitely lead to wrong results. So before hanging the clock it is good to keep in mind some architectural tips to fill the house with positive energy.
The direction of the clock
* Vastu suggests hanging the clock on a wall facing east, west or north. They are comfortable to look at while working, and maintain positivity at home.
* Hanging a clock on the north side is believed to attract wealth and prosperity.
* The north direction is considered to be the direction of Lord Kubera and Lord Ganesha. It helps to get more business or employment opportunities.

Not to the south
* Hanging a wooden clock on the east side gives growth to the family and enhances the quality of your work.
* According to Vastu, the clock should never be placed on the south facing wall of the building.
* Do not place the clock on the southwest or southeast side of the house. This will significantly affect the accuracy of the residents.
Bedroom clock
* Vastu also says that the clock should never be hung above a door.
* When it comes to the bedroom, the best place to hang the clock is to face east.
* For the bedroom, you can also choose the north direction if east is not available
* If one sleeps with the head facing south, the clock should be placed on the wall facing north only. Bedroom clock
* In the bedroom, try to place the clock so that you can see it from the bed itself.
* No clocks facing the bedroom door. Make sure the mattress on the bedroom clock does not reflect on the glass of the clock.
Do not leave outside the house
* Remember, always keep clocks or calendars inside the building. They must be functional. Do not place a clock in the house when it is not working.
* Do not place any clocks on the outside wall of the house.
* If you have a non-functioning clock in your home, remove or repair it immediately.
* Make sure no clock shows the time incorrectly. If possible, one or two minutes before the exact time.

Pendulum clock
* The windows of the clock must be intact and never broken.
* Be sure to keep the clock clean from time to time.
* Depending on the architecture, having a pendulum clock in the house is good for bringing in positive sound vibrations.
* Place the pendulum clockwise on the east side of the room.
* Avoid clocks that depict negative energy (sadness, war, loneliness, etc.).
